I'm Emily and I created Ellery after being inspired by my Grandmother who cherished and celebrated all the jewelry and items that she had. She is the queen of sustainability (but she would call it being resourceful) and she taught me the beauty of handmade clothes and the time and skill that goes into creating. My mission is to highlight amazing pieces made by artisans to add to your ethical wardrobe and lifestyle. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

I've always loved the world of fashion and I wanted to be just like Lauren Conrad in high school. Flash forward to college and I learned about Fair Trade and my life was forever changed. Once I learned about the issues of human rights violations and the extreme waste from the fast-fashion world I knew that I wanted to create a shop that supported ethically and beautiful pieces. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

I will continue to support artisans and businesses until it is a given that people are treated fairly for the work that they create and is no longer something we can share about products, we just already know.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
