This little fair trade boutique is my baby (well my 2nd child after Dagwood). It's just me behind the scenes who works all the shows, who buys the products, who photographs them and puts them online, who does all the marketing, who packages and ships the orders. This shop has been a dream of mine for a long time. On January 18th I left my full time to fully invest my energy into Ellery. A part time job at a small Columbus boutique and Ellery are my only sources of income to support me and Dagwood. So I am feeling the pressure and uncertainty of this time big time.

But what I am also feeling is so much gratitude.

I wanted to take time to thank each and everyone of you who has ever made a purchase, followed me on Instagram, visited the website, or signed up for my newsletter. You have all allowed me to live out this dream, and I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart.

I know all of us in the Small Business world are going through a lot of similar struggles and it feels scary, and I am right their with you. I am also feeling the love of the Columbus community, from people offering to volunteer to the smiles from people outside, for all the re-posting about supporting local business. We will all get through this.
