I will never forget going to Target in Middle School with my Dad and Sister and begging my Dad to get us the Season 3 Gilmore DVD box set. 

I learned so much from Gilmore Girls, so many books and movies were referenced, I learned about young love, and totally identified with Rory in her love of music and books. 

Now at 30, I relate to Lorelai and her owning her own business and how much she loves making her home her home. 

Every year around the beginning of Fall I start my annual re-watch of the series and this cozy wave of nostalgia washes over me. As the weather gets chilly watching this show is the ultimate comfort show.
