Well Hello, 2022!
2022 is here and I am looking forward to this year and all of the exciting possibilities for Ellery this year!
The other day I was scrolling through Instagram, as one does, and I saw this post that I keep thinking about.
It said
"My Interior design style is "I have a lot of stuff and I want to look at all of it" "
I keep thinking about this quote.
I do have a lot of stuff and love looking at it. Seeing things that I bought that brought me joy makes me happy. It's the same way I feel when I pick up my favorite purse. I love looking at the things that I have because I bought them with intention, they are useful or fun to have, or there is a story behind it.
This quote brought me back to why I started Ellery.
To find items that I think are special and to share them with all of you. Items that you want to look at, you want to use, that make you feel special, items that support other women-owned businesses.
After 2 really hard years, my goal for myself and for Ellery is to focus on the items in our lives that feel special, that bring us joy, items we want to look at and surround ourselves with.
